Great progress continues to be made on the Hawke’s Bay Opera House as captured by these three time-lapse videos installed within and on top of the ‘Old Dame’.

In the first video below, we can see the preparation work and installation of the shuttering for the pouring of the shear walls on the first floor of the Opera House auditorium.

The second video, is on top of the Hawke’s Bay Opera House and shows the installation of steel members and cladding for the new roof.

The third and final video, again taken from on top shows the construction of the new wall on the side of the Hawke’s Bay Opera House roof, as Te Mata O Rongokako stands proudly in the distance.
