Te Matau a Maui Secondary Schools’ Kapahaka Competition

Friday 18 May THEATRE 9am and 1pm $7* per session

Hawke’s Bay Secondary School’s Regional Kapahaka Competitions.  18 HB schools will be performing Maori traditional song and dance. 13 of these schools will be competing for in Waiata-tira, Whakaeke (entry), Moteatea, Waiata-a-ringa, Haka, Poi, and Whakawatea (exit), and overall winners for 2012.

Powhiri in the Plaza at 8.30am

Morning Session begins 9am - 12.40pm

Afternoon session begins 1pm - 5pm approx followed by presentation.

All tickets $7 per session
