Location
- The Hawke's Bay Opera House is located at 101 Hastings Street South, Hastings, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.
- The main entrance to the theatre is through the Foyer on Hastings Street.
- The administration offices are located near the corner of Heretaunga and Hastings Street.
- The entrance to the backstage is off Eastbourne Street.
- Key landmarks nearby include Hutchinson's Furniture, New World Supermarket and the Methodist Church.
Parking
Street parking is available in the streets surrounding the Hawke's Bay Opera House. During the evenings and at weekends parking is available in the Hastings District Council Car Park on Eastbourne Street. Please note that the street parking is subject to availability.
Disabled parking is available very close to the Hawke's Bay Opera House. Please contact us if you have any queries with regards to this.

Facilities for people with disabilities
The management of the Hawke's Bay Opera House endeavours to accommodate patrons with disabilities whenever possible. However, due to production requirements of some events, these special facilities are sometimes limited. We therefore recommend that all patrons with special requirements state their needs at the time of booking tickets. Our usual facilities include: Wheelchair access to the auditorium, a wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor, a hearing induction loop throughout most of the auditorium and lifts to the Unison Dress Circle and Assembly Room. Children
Our performances are open to all ages - however the show information will state if there is an age restriction. There are a number of booster seats available to those with height restrictions. Please ask an usher for one of these as you enter the auditorium.
